Words cant even describe everything that you were, you were the best freind that anyone could ever have and to lose you so very soon is so heartbrecking to everyone. Your smile and bright brown eyes could light up a room in a heartbeat. No one will ever forget you or the things that you did. and i would like to share a story with ...everyone and its the reason that Andrew and i were friends, i stalked him the first 2 months of my 7th grade year, untill finaly i bumped into him and he caught me! He said"you can talk to me, you dont have to follow me around you know" he was the nicest and the sweetest person i have ever met, My prayers and deepest sympothy go out to the family and the rest of his freinds.

To the parents of Andrew Scott Hilinski:

There are no words to express the loss of a child. Prayers and faith will ease the pain, but you will always have his memories and smiles to get you through this defficult time.

My son Blake Hemmelgarn knew him through Andrew Arriago. He attended the funeral and after services and he is very hurt and confused.
I myself I'm profoundly sorry about your loss and I want you, your family and friends to know, that all of our prayers are with you all.
God Bless all of you and give you the strength to carry on.

Sincerely,

The Hemmelgarn family:
Ted, Niurka, Blake and Mia

Mary Beth, Paul, and Adam,

I hardly know where to begin. I have been praying for you since the moment I heard the horrible news. Andrew and Adam have been such a BIG part of our "happy" memories. It just seems like the other day the kids were having Big Wheel or bike races down the alley. I enjoyed watching them and often worried they would crash and get hurt. They did have their share of cuts and bruises but somehow always escaped major injuries. I always said they had angels watching over them (Grandma Doris and Grandpa Jerry helped too). Your whole family has been important in my life and my kids. Andrew and Adam felt like family to us. Aunt Nancy often times included my kids on outings. I remember them riding in the convertible and going to her house to swim and play. She was pretty brave to take all of them! Andrew and my boys played cowboy and indians, tag, hide and seek, basketball, baseball, swam, rode bikes, played in the snow, and just about anything else that boys could think to do. Many times Reid, Blake, Travis, Matt, Lindsey and Cody, Andrew and Adam, Taylor, Nathan, Lauren, and Lindsey would be outside playing. I would look out and it looked like a daycare center in the alley!!! I remember the first time he came to see Lindsey and how amazed he was with her. He truly was good to both Lauren and Lindsey when playing. He always included them and was very kind. I hope I was able to remind you about the good, fun days that we were privileged to experience. God has been so good to us. I try to remember that they are God's children and we have been blessed to to raise them until he calls them home. That helps me through these "teenage" years. I know I haven't had the deep, terrible pain of losing a child and that is easier to say than experiencing the loss. You told me to pray for you MaryBeth and I want you to know I am. I love you and your family.

Mary Beth and family:

How very, very sorry we are. As a mom, I can't and won't even TRY to put myself in your shoes right now. There are no words...but I did come across something that might make sense someday.

Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day,
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear.

We're stuck traveling or would be right there with you all. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

On behalf of the Fire Service and Chandler Volunteer Fire Department, I'd like to extend condolences to the family in this time of great loss.

When you join the fire service, you become part of a very large extended family. They don't call it a "Brotherhood" for no reason. Your loss is our loss. Your pain is felt by all of us. Please take comfort in knowing that your sorrow is shared by many more people than you know. We will continue to lift your family up in our prayers.
