Henderson, Kentucky
Rev. Billy Gene Kellough, 82, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Deaconess Charlier Hospice Care Center.
Bill was born in Evansville, Indiana on June 19, 1934 to the late Rev. Carl and Christine (Majors) Kellough. He was a graduate of Oakland City College and started pastoring at the young age of 18. Bill continued to pastor over the next 58 years at churches in Petersburg, Evansville, Henderson, Paducah, and Redondo Beach, CA. He was Pastor Emeritus and Founder at Mill Road Baptist Church where he served for many years.
Bill is survived by his wife of 64 years, Corene (Woodard) Kellough; his sons, Steve (Lisa), David (Karen), John (Betty); sister, Shirley West (Bill); brother, Bobby Kellough (Carol); 10 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
A celebration of Bill's life will be held at 6:30 PM on Friday, July 15, 2016 at Mill Road Baptist Church, 80 W. Mill Rd., Evansville, IN 47710 with Pastor John Kellough officiating. Entombment will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 2:00 PM until service time at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Mill Road Baptist Mission Account.

I have fond memories of Pastor Kellough in the early days of Mill Rd. Baptist Church. My mom [Doris McKain] used to come home after being taught about eternal security and we had some lively discussions. I also remember sticking to the seats in the sanctuary before their was A/C. Pastor Kellough was a Biblical teacher.
