Dorothy Far Obituary

FAR Dorothy Chrostek Far, 36, of Peck Lane, Orange passed away on Saturday October 9, 2010 at the Hospital of St. Raphael after a long courageous battle with breast cancer. She is the wife of Darin Far. Dorothy was born in New Haven on June 20, 1974 a daughter of Zofia Kania Chrostek of New Haven and the late Marian Chrostek. Dorothy was employed by P.F.C. Company of Woodbridge as a Customer Service Representative at the time of her death. In addition to her husband and mother, she leaves two brothers, Marian Chrostek Jr. of North Carolina and Mitchell Chrostek of New Haven; and two sisters, Elizabeth Minieri and Barbara Malangone both of North Haven. Dorothy is also survived by nephews, Cole Nettleton (her Prince) and Michael Chrostek; and nieces Ava Nettleton, Gabriella Malangone, Samantha Minieri, Michele Anastasio, Marisa and Krystina Chrostek. Daughter-in-law of Robert and Francine Far of Milford and sister-in-law Daria Nettleton of Clinton. Dorothy was a beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her. Her funeral will leave the Lupinski Funeral Home, 821 State Street New Haven, Wednesday morning at 9:15 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Stanislaus Church State Street New Haven at 10 a.m. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, North Haven.
