George O. Dugas

DUGAS George O. Dugas, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, passed away Friday, October 29, 2010 at Bridgeport Hospital. He was born in Norwich, son of the late Joseph and Marie (Pacquette) Dugas. George lived in the Newington/Wethersfield area for most of his life prior to moving to Stratford. He spent the past 25 years working for CT Amusements as a route manager. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 29 years, Jeanne H. Dugas. George leaves behind his daughter, Lisa Dugas and grandson, Brandon Wojtkowiak. He is also survived by his stepchildren, Courtney, Jason, Nikki and Abby Collins. The Dugas family would like to express their gratitude to Gus Curcio, Dahill Donofrio and the CT Amusements family for all of their help and support during this very difficult time. The funeral will be Tuesday, November 2, 2010, 9:15 a.m. from the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke., Wethersfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. in Holy Trinity Church, 53 Capitol Ave., Hartford. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Visiting hours will be Monday, November 1st, 5 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
