Mary Mastriano Manente

MANENTE Mary Mastriano Manente, age 84, of Bridgeport, beloved widow of the late Andrew W. Drapp Jr., entered into peaceful rest on Monday, August 22, 2005, at Bridgeport Hospital. A retired LPN, she worked in Warren Lambert for many years until 1985. A member of the LA Missionary Catholic Church, a Missionary in Africa, a member of a 3rd order of a Franciscan and she assisted survivors of the L'Ambiance building disaster in Bridgeport. Truly a life dedicated to working for the good of humanity. She is survived by her daughter, Maureen Drapp Laustsen of Milwaukee, Wis.; her brother, Anthony Mastriano of Bridgeport; her sisters, Rose Torlish (Pat), Jean Ruggerio (Dominich) and Phyllis Smith, all of Bridgeport; her grandchildren, Robert M. Bratchell of Vermont and Andrew L. Hipp of Chicago, Ill.; her great-grandchild, David C. Hipp of Chicago, Ill; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, whom will fondly remember her; She was predeceased by her daughter, Judith McInerney. Funeral services will take place on Friday, August 26, 2005, beginning at 10 a.m. in the Holy Rosary Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will take place, followed by interment in Lakeview Cemetery. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, August 25, 2005 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Funeraria Luz de Paz, ( Peaceful Light Funeral Home) 426 E. Washington Avenue, Bridgeport.
