Barbara Zeleznik Obituary

ZELEZNIK Barbara Niedzwiecki Zeleznik, age 58, died on Friday, December 2, 2005, at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport, she was a lifelong resident of Fairfield and attended Andrew Warde High School. Barbara was a waitress for Red Lobster in Norwalk and was an avid gardener in her spare time. Survivors include a daughter, Desirie Lea of England; a son, Derrick Zeleznik of California; a brother, Peter Niedzweicki of Fairfield; and three grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday at 1 p.m. in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center, with Father Peter Towsley officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to services. Memorial contributions may be directed to Swim Across the Sound, 2800 Main Street, Bridgeport, CT 06606. We will miss (aunt) Barbera dearly.She will always be in our hearts as well as her dad. She was a very good friend as well as a mentor as I entered motherhood back in 1992.
