Julia Schade Obituary

SCHADE Julia Rose Schade, age 86, of Hackettstown, NJ, formerly of Fairfield, beloved wife of the late Eugene F. Schade, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2010. Born in New York City, the daughter of the late Clarence and Anastasia Longenecker, she had been a Fairfield resident for 26 years. An artist, she loved to paint still life as well as write poetry. Survivors include three beloved sons, Robert Schade and his wife, Helen of North Bellmore, NY, Thomas Schade and his wife, Sandra of Fountain Hills, AZ and William Schade and his wife, Jill of Oxford, NJ; a daughter-in-law, Denise Schade of Scottsdale, AZ; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was recently predeceased by her beloved son, John Schade of Scottsdale, AZ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, March 25, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Pius X Church, 834 Brookside Dr., Fairfield. Interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 2:30 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield. The family would prefer in lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Mrs. Julia Schade and Mr. John Schade be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society-Donor Services, P.O.
