Agnes Rita Visokay

VISOKAY Agnes Rita (Pringer) Visokay, age 99 of Trumbull, previously of Stratford, died on Sunday, December 27, 2009 at Northbridge Health Care Center. She was the widow of William Visokay. She was born in Yonkers, N.Y. to the late John and Anna (Minchak) Pringer. Mrs. Visokay was well known locally as a gifted artist specializing in the painting and restoration of fine china. She also served as an instructor in fine china painting. She is survived by two sons, Richard Visokay and his wife, Joan of Fairfield and Robert Visokay of Milford; one daughter, Barbara Repko and her husband, Benedict of Florida; one sister, Margaret Pringer of Trumbull; eight grandchildren, Brian Visokay, Megan Adams, Elisia Grogan, Richard C. Visokay, Billy Repko, Stephen Visokay, Mark Visokay, and Susan Morazes; 14 great-grandchildren; and her faithful caretaker, Dottie Armstrong. She was predeceased by her sister, Mary Pringer; two grandsons, Benedict Repko Jr. and Kevin Visokay; and her daughter-in-law, Joan Meyer Visokay. Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Monday, January 4, 2010 at 11 a.m. officiated by Rev. Monsignor William Schultz in the Pistey Funeral Home, 2155 Main Street, Stratford. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at the convenience of the family.
