God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered "come to me." With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best. Rest in Peace. Uncle Al- you were my confidant, political sparring partner, and favorite Uncle. We had many a laugh sitting around your kitchen table re-telling the old family adventures! I love you, even if you did try to get me to eat the chocolate that was supposed to drip on my dress when I was little. Aunt Belle, Brian and Issy my prayers are with you.

Aunt Isabel, Brian and Issy and all the grandchildren and family, I am thinking of you in your time of loss. I will miss his powerful grip and hearty voice along with all the nicknames he had for us. That is what made all of his pennsyltuckians love him.

My Dear Uncle Al. You were my favorite uncle, confidant, political combat partner, and memory keeper. You tried to get me to get my dress full of chocolate when just a child (which didn't work), and I know you loved me just because. Words can not express how much I love you, but I know you knew that. I am grateful that you were in my life, and I will have an undying respect for you. Family always came first. May God Bless you. Keep us in your heart as we will you. Say hello to AL, Mom, Gram and Gramps for me and Jack.
