Kenneth Biebel Obituary

BIEBEL Kenneth Sr., age 82 of Bridgeport, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2008. Ken was best known as the owner of Biebel Travel in Stratford. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a longtime member of the Freemason Society and the Civitan Club. Ken was always generous and kind, treasured his family, and loved all animals. Ken leaves behind his loving wife, Ann (Plude); a daughter, Maureen Stier and her husband, Larry of Marietta, Ga., Kenneth Biebel Jr., and wife, Jody Cologgi of Trumbull; daughter, Susan Baccaro and husband, Dave of Trumbull; and son, William Biebel and wife, Beverly of Shelton. Ken was proud of his eight grandchildren, Justin, Brendan, Brianna, Matthew, Thomas, Natalie, Spencer and Brody. A memorial service will take place Saturday, June 28, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Nichols United Methodist Church in Trumbull. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
