Mary Stramski Pelletier

PELLETIER Mary Stramski Pelletier, age 76, of Stratford, wife of the late Roger Pelletier Sr., died on Wednesday, June 23, 2004, at Leesburg Medical Center, Fla. Born in Carbondale, Pa., Mrs. Pelletier was a Stratford town resident for most of her life. She had worked for the Bryant Electric Co. of Bridgeport, and later retired from the People's Bank Research Department. Mary was a longtime member of St. Michael the Archangel Church, taught at St. Michael's Catholic School, was a den leader for the Cub Scouts and a member of the Secular Franciscan Order, Holy Spirit Fraternity. Mary is survived by her son, James Pelletier and his wife, Nancy, of Prospect; her daughter, Lorraine Crowley and her husband, Donald, of Florida; a sister, Lorraine Young of Stratford; grandchildren, Christopher Pelletier, Colleen Foltz and her husband, Kenneth, Jacqulyn and Andrew Crowley and Kathleen, Wayne and Jennifer Pelletier; great-grandchildren, Gabrielle Foltz and Audrey Pelletier; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Roger, Mary was predeceased by her son, Roger Pelletier Jr.; and a brother, Frank Stramski Sr. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 9:15 a.m. in the Frank Polke and Son Funeral Home, 1546 Fairfield Avenue, Bridgeport, and at 10 a.m. in St. Michael the Archangel Church, Pulaski Street, Bridgeport. Burial to follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Stratford EMS or the American Cancer Society.
