Michael Labagh Obituary

LABAGH Michael Labagh, age 51, of Middletown, beloved husband of Cindi, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2006, at Midstate Medical Center, in Meriden. He was born in Middletown, on June 17, 1954, a son of the late James Labagh and Nancy Alexander. Michael was employed at Park City Ford in Bridgeport as a senior master technician and was very proud of that accomplishment. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. Michael also had a love of animals especially for his cats, Zoie, Max, Lizzy June, Honey, Mini Maxi, Scobby; and his dog, Henry. He was a very special and courageous man and will be greatly missed. Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Emily and Sara Duda, of Middletown; a brother, Jim Labagh and his wife, Anne, of Middletown; a sister, Cynthia Usanis and her husband, Paul, of Meriden; a sister-in-law, Jamie Hackbarth and her husband, Paul Rood, of Meriden. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Rajani Nadkarni and Dr. Lewis Levin for the wonderful care they gave to our beloved Michael. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society New England Division Inc., 538 Preston Avenue, Meriden, CT 06450-1004 or P.O. Box Meriden, CT 06450. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be private. The Szymaszek-Taylor Funeral Home, 189 East Main Street, Meriden, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
