Verdi, Diane M.
Diane Marie (Tallerdy) Verdi, age 60 of Stratford, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2014 in Northbridge Health Care, Bridgeport after a long courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Diane was born in Bridgeport on January 19, 1953, she was the daughter of the late William and Rose Tallerdy. She will be fondly remembered for her warm smile and her witty humor. She was a member of the Connecticut Hurricanes Drum and Bugle Corps, 1981 Champions. Survivors include her husband, Carmine (Butch) Verdi, her daughter, Dondi Staffieri and husband Daniel of Seymour, her son, Joseph Verdi and wife Felicia of Stratford, she will be sadly missed by her three grandchildren, Nicholas Staffieri, Nicholas and Angelina Verdi, her siblings, Robert Tallerdy, Darlene Rowley, Gary Tallerdy, Debbie Garrick and Barbara Ferris, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Diane was not only predeceased by her parents but also by her Memere, Donelda Demming, her niece, Tammy Penny, and her brother, William Tallerdy Jr. She will be sadly missed by all those whose hearts and lives she touched. Friends may call on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Parente-Lauro Funeral Home, 559 Washington Ave., Bridgeport. Services and Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made directly to the Parente-Lauro Funeral Home in memory of Diane.
