Steven F. Rogers, Attorney and long time Milford resident, entered into eternal rest August 19th, 2015 at Bridgeport Hospital. Steve graduated from Milford High School in 1963, then attended Bates College, received an MBA from University of New Haven, and finally, his law degree from Temple University.
Active in the community, Steve was a member of the Plymouth Men's Club, Milford Historical Society, and the Milford Cemetery Association. Over the years, he was involved in a number of charitable organizations: Milford Land Conservation Trust, Inc., the annual Milford Oyster Festival, and the Special Olympics. In recent years, he could be seen around Milford with his dog, Penny, a rescued pit bull mix; the two were inseparable.
Steve is survived by his sister, Sue E. Hall (Ken) of Indianapolis, IN, a niece, Kristin Hall of Milford, CT, several cousins, and his beloved dog Penny. He is pre-deceased by his father, Francis (Frank) Rogers and mother, Georgia Rogers.
