Jeremy White Obituary
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today (May 19) at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Billy Hedgecock and the Rev. Joe Bailey officiating. Interment will follow at Carlsbad Cemetery. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Jeremy Keith White was born June 24, 1980, in Carlsbad, to Garye Keith and Debra Lynn (Wilson) White. He attended Carlsbad High School. Jeremy began working as a welder's helper and worked in pipeline construction for 10 years, where he was currently working for Fisher Construction.
Jeremy had plans to marry Katie Gibson on June 24, 2009. He was on his way to work with his brother when they were involved in an automobile accident on the Pecos Highway. Jeremy was attending 9th and Missouri Church of God. He loved fishing, welding and being with his family. Jeremy was a hard worker. He will always be remembered by his wonderful sense of humor and the beautiful smile he had to share. Jeremy will be greatly missed by those who loved him.
Survivors include fiance, Katie Gibson and her daughter, McKenzie Carrasco; mother, Debbie White of Carlsbad; father, Garye White and wife, Patty of Carlsbad; sister, Jennifer Haschets and husband, John of Carlsbad; brother, Jordan White and Sharey Ybarra of Carlsbad; maternal grandparents: Bob and Rachel Wilson of Carlsbad; paternal grandparents: Dean and Carolyn White of Carlsbad; stepbrother, Ryan White of Carlsbad; two nieces: Kourtnee and Cayley White of Carlsbad; nephew, Colby Haschets of Carlsbad; three uncles: Kellye White and wife, Cheryl of Nashville, Tenn., Randy Wilson and wife, Brenda of Carlsbad, and Terry Wilson of Carlsbad; nine cousins: Roby White, Krista Ordonez and Tyler, Ashleigh, Rhyanna, Brandon, Shaeleigh, Johnny and Robbie Wilson.
Pallbearers will be Charlie Burkham, Keith Counts, Ryan White, Randy Wilson, Brandon Wilson, Tyler Wilson and John Haschets. Honorary pallbearers are Jordan White, Roby White, Kellye White, Terry Wilson and Mark McGonagill.

Carolyn & Dean - I just heard of Jeremy's untimely death. I grew up with your boys, Garye and Kellye and have found memories of your family. My parents were Hobart and Natalie Adams and I recall when they were involved in their tragic accident you were always so kind and visited them often. To this day, Carolyn, I can remember how beautifully you played the piano at church. I will pray for each of you for God's grace to sustain you during this most difficult time. My most sincere condolences to each of you.
