My first job was with Ray & Dot. They were great down to earth people and would give you the shirt off their backs. They taught me lots of life lessons that I still use to this day. I'll never forget watching Big Ray pound out those huge pork tenderloins and the yummy root beer! Now they are back together again! Farewell, dear friends!

I worked with Big Ray and Dot as a car hop back in the 60's when I was in high school. They were located on Sycamore Road at the time. I always remember in the spring when they would open there would be a picture in the newspaper with Big Ray's back and it would say "Big Ray is back and opening now". Great memories.

I remember Dot teaching us how to say their last name because nobody could get it right. It's like your chin, she would say. They had the best burgers in town and root beer to boot.Sorry to know that they are gone, it's like the end of an era...

Such wonderful people the Majcina's were. If you did your job right, they treated you very well. At the end of the season they helped me find a permanent/year-round job. And they always remembered their past employees from the first to the last ones. I learned a lot about the working world from them. Fond memories will always be remembered!

I have so many fond memories of Ray, Dot and the restaurant. I believe I spent half of my high school years there. Great food, great folks.

What great memories of Dot & Big Ray. They were a real joy to work for and have as friends. I worked for Dot & Ray in the Mid 1960's when they first opened on Sycamore Road. A great couple who will be missed.

My first job when I was 14. Worked there for 2 summers. I learned so much from Dot and Ray! Moved to the neighborhood across from them when I was married so I got to visit with them a lot....they were wonderful employers and friends! Thank you both for everything!

What great remembrances I have of the wonderful food at BIG RAY'S DRIVE IN(and friendly owners). I lived East of town on a farm and we always wanted to stop there to eat. Great memories! May Dot RIP.
