James W. Koppers, age 70, late of Crestwood. Beloved husband of Bonnie Koppers. Loving father of James (Carolyn) Koppers and Claudine (Kurt) Fugman. Proud grandfather of Benjamin, Jude and Christopher. Dear brother of Evelyn (Dennis) Hearne, brother-in-law Aileen Koppers. Fond uncle to three generations of nieces and nephews. Friend to many. Jim was preceded in death by his parents Jacob and Marie Koppers, four brothers; Francis (Patricia) Koppers, Jacob (Genny) Koppers, Thomas (Noreen) Koppers and Robert Koppers, one sister Connie (Neal) Hallahan. Army veteran. Member of Midlothian Shadow Riders. Retired 34 year employee of Commonwealth Edison. Thanks to Ken and Dennis for years of Motorcycling. Memorials may be made to Manteno Veterans Home. Funeral Wednesday 9:30 AM from the HICKEY MEMORIAL CHAPEL 4201 W. 147th St. Midlothian to St Christopher Church 10:00 AM Mass. Interment will be at St. Benedict Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 3:00 - 9:00 PM. 708-385-4478
