My Dearest Aunt Bonnie,
My condolences do not express the sorrow and loss in the passing of Uncle Clarence. He was present at every turn of my life. Clarence always brought laughter and a smile for my family. He shared peace and good will with every visit. All of my children have memories of his love for them. Clarence will remain in our hearts forever. May he be blessed with eternal mountain pastures and may we all gather together once again.

The family of Clarence Exon,

Clarence and family gathered at many of our Tibbets/Elliott/Curley reunions. His presence made my great grandmother, Mae Tibbets Elliott, my grandmother, Ines Elliott Curley and my mother, Ruth Ottie Fisher Cabral quite happy, as they had a special bond. It was always nice to learn about our family heritage, see him and his family at our family gatherings in Colorado. My sympathy and prayers go out to his loved ones. May he rest in peace.

For right now, the winds of tomorrow softly speak with me today and the range of waves quietly whispers sounds of silence. I send my old fashioned healing prayers to my Dear Family with its warmth to rest beneath and to find comfort in words I can not express but hope this finds you all very well on this day of sadness. My thoughts and prayers are with you all now and in the many days to come. My words can not express the emptiness that has left me but the memory of My Uncle Clarence will go on forever in the hearts of those, in all walks of life, who will remember and they always will. What the heart has once owned it shall never lose! I wish there were a deeper way to express my sincere sympathy in this time of sorrow. Words convey so little where our heart feels so much pain and grief. I can not express in words the emptiness you have in your heart where words may not enter. In the back of ones mind lies many treasured memories. May you find comfort in the many of his loving memories which you will carry in your heart forever of a life who has touched so many in his own special way. May the Keeper, Our Creator, Our Lord, God Almighty, walk with you and your family through these difficult times ahead with my deepest and sincere sympathy to comfort you and your family as Uncle Clarence will be missed very deeply! May He Rest In Peace! With My Sincere and Deepest Sympathy, Love Your Nephew Sterling

Uncle Clarence will be remembered as a very special role model that his nephew Steve was glad to have in his life during his formative years. We looked forward to hearing about his acheviements in pool, clearly a favorite pastime, in the annual Christmas letters and we are glad that we made a family trip to "meet the relatives" so that Claudia could put faces to the names she heard about. We are saddened by this loss and are thankful that he lead such an active life for as long as he did.

We will all miss Clarence. He would give me advice and encouragement in playing pool, which I needed. He was a joy to be around and I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

To Clarence's Family,
Clarence was one of the most kind, considerate and thoughtful gentlemen I have known. It was always a pleasure to see him and his family at many of our family gatherings in Colorado, whether is was just a family get together or,in recent years, a funeral or memorial service. His wise and joyful presence will be missed, but he will always be in our minds and hearts. Our sympathy and prayers go out to his loved ones.May he rest in peace.

Grandpa, I'm going to miss you so much! I wrote you a letter at 12:30 am Monday morning and was hoping to read it to you. It said that I love you and I'm so glad to have had you in my life. You taught me the importance of caring for your family, including children, grandchildren, and siblings. You were always so caring and giving. I was putting Michelle to bed last night and, as I heard the clock you gave her last year ticking and putting her to sleep, I couldn't help crying and missing you. However, I am so glad that you aren't in pain anymore. I know that the new body Jesus gave you, the one like the body He got after his resurrection, isn't painful or failing you. I'm not at all sad for you. I know you are doing great. I'm sad for me, not being able to hug you or talk to you about hunting over by Navajo Lake or about the coyote your dad tied up that became your pet. I'm sad for my daughters, the one who won't remember much of you and the two who never met you. I'm sad for Jason, because you are the only granddad he ever knew. I can't wait to hug your new neck with my new arms! Until then, I will miss you terribly!

Love, Erin
