I'm so sad to hear about Joann's passing. I was not aware she was sick.
I worked with her at City Market in the late 80's. She was such a sweet and loving lady. Be strong and hold up one another in prayer and encouraging words. God Bless you all.

I am so sorry to hear about Joann's passing. May you find the strength from her teachings and who she was, as she prepared you on how your lives will be. Remember her laughters, jokes and comments about many things throughout her life. I'll always remember her as a friend while attending FLC way back when. She would make me laugh just by looking at her, as I know she was about to say or do something funny. I will miss her too. It was an honor to know her. Be strong & support each other. Thank you for sharing her with us.

From the Charlie Francis Jr. family, please accept our deepest condolences and know that though you may grieve for her, she is in a better place. The pain that she suffered as she prepared to meet the Lord is no more. She is healthy and no longer in pain. She will be waiting for the rest of her family to join her a long time from now but right now I'm sure she's catching up with her masani's and chei's and other kei. Know that she will live on in your hearts forever!!!

When wonderful, loving people leave too soon it seems unfair, but know you have an amazing guardian angel forever.

My condolences and thoughts to the Benally family. I am honored to have known a great lovely person named JoAnn. I got to know the family many years ago through the friendships of Diandra and Dineh. Such a great family and it was JoAnn who made it happened. You were one of the few mothers out there that got to know me by my given nickname and that is special. Just means you were family to me. When I see, hear, think the name JoAnn Benally...it will always be the light of a great strong women, mother, sister, wife and friend...you will truly be missed...

No matter how old we are,
losing a mother
is one of the deepest sorrows

will always
be with you all.
