He is survived by his parents Lester Henry Sr. and Ellouise Johnson; wife Michelle Hastings-Johnson; brothers, David (Deanna Begay) Johnson, Curtis (Christina Silentman) Johnson, Shawn (Melissa Begaye) Johnson, Alonzo Pete (Allesha Marie) Johnson and Rashaan (Divonna Teresa Tsalate) Aercino Johnson; sisters, Shanna (Merlin) Watchman, Shannon Lynn Johnson (Lorenzo Manygoats); nephews, Avian Johnson, Orlando Midnight Manygoats and Kyrie Tsalate Johnson; nieces, Shaunice Lynn Watchman, Shauntay Ann Watchman, Danishia Alicia Johnson, Delvina Keishia Johnson, Shaunyah Lynn Johnson, Shauntel Lynn Manygoats, Bailey Christine Johnson, Tashina Snoweagle Silentman Johnson and Tashannie Silentman Johnson; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, friends and co-workers at Long John Silvers.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; maternal grandparents Jim and Emma Pete and paternal grandfather Henry Johnson and great-grandmother Agnes Jim.
A funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 26, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, U.S. Highway 491 in Shiprock, Bishop Dale Walser will conduct. Interment will follow in Shiprock Community Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Tom Pete Jr., Merlin Watchman, Tyrone Brown, Harlen Begaye, Shane Williams and Ramus Gould.
Honorary pallbearers are David Johnson, Curtis Johnson, Shawn Johnson, Alonzo Pete Johnson, Rashaan Aercino Johnson, Lester Henry Johnson Sr., Ellouise Johnson, Shannon Lynn Johnson and Shanna Lynn Watchman.
Lester is in the care of Desert View Funeral Home, North U.S. Highway 491, in Shiprock, 505-368-4607.

To the family of Lester Jr., May the Lord provide all your need according to His riches and glory. May the Lord give you strength and comfort. Your son was a wonderful young man. I knew him as a kid at DYCS playing ball, then becoming a great young man. My condolences to you and the family. Rest in peace, Lester Jr.
