Herbert Oldham Obituary


Edenton resident

Herbert Shelly Oldham, 80, of 1503 W. Queen St., Edenton, died Sunday, April 4, 2010, at Britthaven nursing home. Mr. Oldham was born in Chatham County, the son of the late Ruby Andrews and Herbert Huston Oldham. He was married to Virginia Myers Oldham of the residence. Mr. Oldham was a retired truck driver with the Suffolk Packing Company and was a U.S. Navy veteran. Surviving Mr. Oldham is a daughter, Wanda O. Forrest and her husband, Randy, of Jacksonville, Fla.; a son, Freddy Oldham and his wife, Pam, of Edenton; two sisters: Bobbie O. Spanolia and Doris O. Fishel and her husband, Henry, all of Winston Salem, N.C.; four grandchildren: Emily and Ryan Forrest and Shelly and Kevin Oldham. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at Hillcrest Cemetery in Colerain, N.C., with the Rev. David Brooks officiating. A visitation will be held today from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Evans Funerals and Cremations Chapel. Condolences may be sent by visiting wwwevansfac.com. Evans Funerals and Cremations of Edenton is serving the Oldham family.

ha freddy havent heard from you in about 35 years or more sorry to fine out about your daddy .maby will get to edenton some time and look you up .i lost both my mother and father in the pass 17 years when i moved to georgia here is my email [email protected] had some good times in the pass.
