Malcolm Short Obituary

Dale passed away on October 8, 2010, at the age of 80. He was born January 13, 1930 in Texas, and had been a longtime resident of Rolling Hills Estates. Dale is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy; children, Garrett (Teri), Donna Hoernke; grandchildren, Lauren, Evan, Brian, Conner, stepson David Wills; sister, Mavis Ferguson. Memorial services will be Friday, October 15, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 5975 Armaga Springs Road, Rancho Palos Verdes. Interment will be private. I'm thankful of the times I was able to visit with Uncle Dale, there were not enough of those times. He had a fun outlook on life, and seemed to find joy wherever he was. Aunt Dorothy, I'm sorry for your loss, but thankful to know you. I'm sure you were a big part of his joy. Sandy
