Mrs. Eileen Smith Obituary

IN LOVING MEMORY

Mrs. Smith, the daughter of Lemuel and Lottie Jones, was born on March 27, 1916 in Red Rock, Arkansas, passed away peacefully in Torrance, California on September 10, 2010. Eileen was a longtime resident and a very active and faithful member of The Harbor Church for over 40 years. She is survived by her devoted husband of 66 years, Glen; son, Boyd (Linda); 3 grandchildren, Jon Smith (Tina); Jamie Trujillo (Michael) and Tisha Verhoef (Marten); 5 great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kyle and Konnor Smith; Boyd Immanuel and Holland-Grace Verhoef; and 1 great grandchild, Rose Leigh Trujillo, who preceded her in death; 3 sisters, Violet Mullins (Bill); Bernice Mead (Ron) and Vera Jones; 2 brothers, John Jones (Louise) and Robert Jones (Joyce). Eileen is also survived by many nieces and nephews and a host of good friends. Memorial service will be held at Green Hills Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes on Friday, October 15, 2010 at 3:00pm.
