Hi uncle I am so sad that you had to go I told mommy you were not ready it was not your time. but my mommy said it was gods plan to go make people laugh in heaven. so can you say hi to my grandma LOLA for me please. i miss her too.im so sad you won't be at my 8th birthday party its on november 2 im going to have cake and ice cream and mommys going to make me what i want to eat my favorite food.I miss you uncle you were so funny and made me laugh all the time. and you always teasesd me and it was fun. I just noticed your Birthday is shared with my little Angel Angelos! Everytime I celebrate his, I'll think of two great men now. A beautiful person whom I haven't seen in many years, but still remember his contagious smile. No matter how down you felt, if Neal smiled that smile of his while giving you his positive and witty advice, you had no choice but to smile back and give him a hug for making you smile. It's amazing to see how many lives you've touched while here on this earth for such a short amount of time. I will never forget the drama rehearsals ("Look at the spot!!!") or the warning you gave to my boyfriend to make sure he treated me like a queen. You were such a great person to be around and always had an encouraging word to say that would be followed by a huge hug and smile. You will be missed and always remembered. From the times we joked around in the Gym before youth service and his corner hoop shot from behind the back board to studying the word before drama practice to get a full understanding of the drama and taking the team to perform in Mexico and all over So Cal to spread Gods love. I've known Neal since I was a little girl growing up in Carson. I would see him all the time with his great big smile. Gonna miss you Neal! I practically lived at Calas Park, everyday rain or shine. I would see all the CPL boys there-thats how I've known Neal, Peter, Filipo, Gilbert, Wally, Mitchie, Henry, Dino, Mando, BamBam, Diamond, Damian, JimJim, Yabs, etc...them all. My brother Clarence & Eugene, my brother Clarence (1959-1993) coached girls softball at Calas Park. My brother Eugene ended up being CPL the eldest of them all. They be kicking it in our garage-back in the dayz. We gonna miss you Neal! My condolences & prayers to the Mageo Family.

I only had the honor of knowing Neal as we were growing up. Playing on many baseball teams with him at Calas park, and as we went into high school. My memories of Neal are and always will be of an outgoing, friendly, wild kinda guy.
