DiMaggio Family,

I had the pleasure of working for Anthony for the past 12 years and I can't even express how sad I was to hear of his passing. It was strange, but he had popped into my head Thursday morning, the 25th, when I was getting ready for my day. I use and old cigar box to hold my jewelry and Anthony had planned on sending me a few of his extras, but he just kept forgetting. It just reminds me of how thoughtful and generous he always was. He was an amazing person that always made me laugh and I will never forget him. I send my deepest condolences to his loved ones for I know that he will be greatly missed.

Dimaggio family,

I have so many fond memories of Anthony. I met him on 12/17/1991, and I have worked for him since that day. He always had faith in me, kept me on my toes, made me prove myself, and was proud of the employee I had become. He made it a point to check in on me from time to time since I wasn't usually in the office. Anthony has always done everything first class. Even his concern for his employees.

I will strive everyday to make Anthony proud. He will be truely missed, but never ever forgotten. I owe so much of what I have to him. I will continue to share my stories and photos of him with fellow employees and friends.

My prayers are with you Jolene, Marissa and Stephanie

I will miss you dear friend.

Jolene and family,

I am so very sorry for your loss; it is tough for me to share all my thoughts and memories over the past 20 years of knowing Anthony.

He was a class act, the bantering on the phone, sense of humor, generosity, a definite legend in our industry. I feel privileged to have joined him last year @ PVCC for a round of golf, his love for the game and passion for life I will always remember, he will be missed.

My prayers and thoughts are with you all.

Jolene
Where can i start. I first met Anthony at the San Pedro Boys Club fifty some years ago on the basketball court. That became the ride of alife time friendship. He started dating Joleen in about 1966 or so. They were a wonderful couple. Their engagement party at Jolene parents what fun we had. Then slow pitch traveling all over playing big games all over the west coast. Great players on those teams but we had our Ruth and Gehrig. The best 3/4 punch in slow pitch. That was DIMAGGIO AND RODRIGUES. Those two did big damage to other teams. So with a heavy heart i say good by to my friend Anthony.

Anthony gave me my first job in the seafood industry @ Neno's Fish Market...he took me numerous times to PVCC, then afterwards we would eat at Admiral Risty...he even once flew me up for the day to play Pebble Beach with Rex Butler and David Ptak....those were just a few things he did for me and I will never forget any of them...Anthony taught many of us how to be successful in the seafood business, and more importantly, how to be successful in life....there are not enough words to explain how much he will be missed...
