I am still in so much shock its hard to even begin. I am very sad. As the days go by and this becomes more real it gets harder. She was a great Mother and has two of the greatest children I know. Jill was a hard act to follow being her little sister. She taught me alot, She was smart, funny and her love for animals started when she was a child that never changed. I am glad she was able to live out her passion with animal rescue. We had some good times together staying with her at her Soreity House ofcouse she was Preident, I was so proud! We also once a year did the Breast Cancer Avon walk on PCH. Cheering on the walkers handing out water, suckers, and what ever theme was. They were very well decorated by the end of the walk. I will miss her. This Chritmas she will spend with Jesus and My Dad, He is thrilled Im sure! God Bless you Elise and Tyler Youre the Best! Love Aunt Kim

My condolences to the Morris Family, especially Elise and Tyler. Your Mother was a very special person. Surely there is a place in Heaven for someone who helped make this world a better place. She will live on in the memories of those who knew her and in the lives of coiuntless cats and dogs she helped.

Jill posted this photo of one of the cats she rescued and I adopted from her. Thanks to her I found him on petfinder.com

I am so saddened to hear Jill has passed away. I met her when I adopted two rescue kittens she had saved from the shelter on Gaffey in early 2008. She was the most WONDERFUL woman saving all the animals the way she did. I owe her so much. Thanks to her my beautiful boys are alive & flourishing. I connected others to her that were on the hunt for a new pet. She was fantastic. You can't replace someone that has done as much good in the world as Jill did.

Really missing Jill right now. She was a person who knew so much and shared so much. I could count on her for advice for just about everything: home improvements, wedding invitations, politics, oh, and of course, rescuing animals. I have fond memories of coffee & donuts, Taco Bell and hours spent at Kritter Korral (aka Dino's Pet Shoppe) waiting for adopters to come along to provide "forever homes" to all the kitties and pups we rescued over the years.

I can't seem to find the words to honor Jill as I would like to. I learned so much from her, and I miss her every day. She is someone who, through her animal rescue work, mentoring of others, and especially by raising two lovely children, truly left the world a better place than she found it. Well done, Jill. I'm so glad to have known you.

Dear Elsie and Tyler,
I count myself among Jill's friends and fellow rescue colleagues. I was unprepared for her untimely departure from us. I knew she wasn't well but I did learn until after she passed the gravity of her illness. I know she told me she had the fondest memories of Yellow National Park so it doesn't surprise me that she wanted her ashes scattered there. I keep her fondly in my thoughts as she was always so helpful in recommending medications to treat dogs with minor health issues. She was a strong woman and we in the rescue community have a large spot to fill her void. RIP Jill. We miss and love you.
We will be participating in the special memorial adoption day on 12/19 in your Mom's honor. I personally feel she'll be there too.
