Patricia Ann Dunigan Obituary

A 45 year Torrance resident and native of LA County, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at her home surrounded by loving family. Born in San Pedro, Patricia was 73 when she died. She had been a parishioner at St. James in Redondo Beach for 30 years and was currently a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Hermosa Beach, where she enjoyed many events, especially helping out with her family at the Fiestas. Pat graduated from Bishop Conaty High School in LA and married her loving husband, Robert, with whom she raised their six daughters. She coached many of them at Tordondo Little League and at St. James Elementary School. In 1976 she began her career at Bishop Montgomery High School, where she worked in office positions for 31 years. Pat was a generous contributor to causes close to her heart. Patricia is survived by her six daughters, Kellee Dunigan of Long Beach, CA, Sharon (John) Onorati of Long Beach, CA, Vicki Dunigan of Torrance, CA Debbie (Tom) Fraker of Torrance, CA, Jacki (Alan) Gafford of Lakewood, CA, and Sue (Keith) Henderson of Moreno Valley. Her sixteen loving grandchildren are Jaron, Teresa, and Ryan Onorati, Whitney, Sadie, Morgan and Tommy Fraker, Savannah, Dunigan, Alanna, and Connor Gafford, and Kameron, Kayleen, Kobe, Kenzie and Katrice Henderson. She was preceded in death by her brother Jay Hayes, parents Alice Hayes and Bernard Hayes, and her husband of 36 years Robert Dunigan. A gathering of family & friends will be held at Rice Mortuary in Torrance on Thursday, November 11, 2010 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm with the Rosary service commencing at 7:00 pm. The Mass service will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Friday, November 12, 2010 at 6:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or to a scholarship fund at Bishop Montgomery High School, 5430 Torrance Blvd., Torrance, CA 90503.
