Thomas Repking Obituary

Thomas Repking, 62, of Torrance, passed away at home on Sunday, January 9, 2011. Tom was born on November 9, 1948 in Los Angeles. He is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Linda; children, Becky and Bill (Justina); mother, Clara; brothers, Jim (Gerry) and Bob (Carrie); sisters, Carol (Paul) West and Patty (Gabe) Soumakian; mother-in-law, Gloria Headley; brother-in-law, Paul Headley; 12 nieces and nephews; 2 great nieces; and numerous other family and friends. He worked for many years as a mechanical engineer in the insurance industry as a risk consultant. His optimism, compassion, social skills and ability to solve problems set him apart as a husband, father, friend and neighbor. His life will be celebrated in a memorial service at Neighborhood Church on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 1:00 pm. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Neighborhood Church in care of the Tom Repking Memorial Fund. Please sign the guestbook at www.dailybreeze.com/obits.
