Jesse W. Keller, 64, a beloved family man, passed away Oct. 24, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.
Jesse was born on June 19, 1954, in Connellsville to Oscar and Vella Jaynes Keller Jr. of Connellsville.
Jesse grew up in Bullskin Township and graduated from Connellsville Area High School.
He furthered his education, attending Penn State University (Fayette Campus) and received a degree in radiologic technology from Sacred Heart Hospital in Norristown. He married Sharon Jean Gettens on Nov. 8, 1980, and together, they had three children. Jesse was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and had a gift for preaching God's Word. He ministered at the Central Fellowship Church and the Dawson Baptist Church, and he was a member of the Mt. Olive Evangelical Church. He was committed to his family and was truly a joy to all who met him. Throughout his career, he worked at area hospitals, including Jeannette District Memorial, Canonsburg General and served as director of radiology at Virginia Beach General Hospital in Virginia. Jesse's true passion was his entrepreneurship. He was a founding partner of Mid-Atlantic Unified Health Systems, Inc., which developed medical imaging facilities throughout the Midwest and east coast states. Local facilities were Open MRI of Connellsville in conjunction with Highlands Hospital and the Center for Medical Imaging in Greensburg.
In addition to his parents, Jesse is survived by Sharon Keller; his children, Brenton Keller and wife Michelle of Greensburg, Matthew Keller and wife Jamie of Mt. Pleasant and Kelsey Raves and husband Jonathan of Fishers, Ind.; two grandchildren, Melia Keller and Sidney Keller; and his brother, Jace Keller and wife Melanie; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Sharon & family,
So very sorry to hear of Jesse's passing. He was a great co-worker when we worked at JDMH. I remember when we worked call & the weather was bad, he would call me to say he would take the shift so I wouldn't have to drive in. He had a great sense of humor that I will always remember. RIP friend.
