Your loss is our loss. Eddie or as he was called "fast Eddie" was a dear friend for so many years. My kids are proud to say they are 4th generation at Montano's Shoe store. Eddie would never sell you a pair of shoes for my kids unless they needed them . We will always remember you Eddie. You were a real gem and a good friend to all. Love from ALL THE FRED SPOHLER FAMILY. Barbara, Rick and Kurt and Carol Spohler, RIP Eddie

Ed was a friend and neighbor whom I have often thought of in recent years. We had a couple of good times together. I missed him when I saw that he wasn't at his usual station in the garden or yard on Market--and I'm sure I will think of him fondly from time to time in the future.

Sorry to hear of Mr. Montano's passing. He was always wonderful and asked about my family. He always had a smile and kind word for all.

Dear Judy,
So sorry to hear of your brother's passing. I can't begin to count the number of shoes that he fitted and sold to my family. He always had a big smile on his face. You were a good sister.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any mans death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.

Many fun memories from St Marys and Saugerties High. We had a good group. Saugerties was a great place to grow up in the 50's.
Bon Voyage Ed
