Nora J. Wolff

Nora J. Wolff ROSENDALE- Nora J. Wolff, 71, of James St. died Monday, March 12, 2012 at the Kingston Hospital. She was born in Brooklyn, March 22, 1940 a daughter of the late John and Rita Fitzgerald O'Sullivan. She graduated from St. Ursala High School and than went on to SUNY New Paltz where she graduated in 1961. While at New Paltz she joined Theta Phi Gamma sorority. She was on the board of directors of the sorority and also on the inter sorority council. Nora was a math teacher for over 30 years and spent most of those years in the Marlboro School District. In 2005 Nora started studying ikenobo ikebana, Japanese flower arranging. She enjoyed spending time at Cape Cod with her friends and family. Her husband Norm Wolff died Nov. 26, 1999, a brother John O'Sullivan and a sister, Rita O'Sullivan also died previously. She is survived by her brother James O'Sullivan of High Falls and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. The funeral will be held 9:30 a.m. Thursday from the George J. Moylan Funeral Home Inc., 2053 Route 32, Rosendale. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 10 a.m. at St. Peters Church, Rosendale, Rev. Jude Duffy will officiate.
