COBLESKILL-Cobleskill- Howard J. Stauble, 85, of Parkway Drive, died peacefully at his home on Friday, Jan. 18, 2013.

Howard was a member of the Society of Property Casualty Underwriters, a professional insurance educational organization, receiving his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters, designation in 1965.

Following his discharge, he returned to Kingston High School and graduated in 1947. By then he had met his future wife, Joyce Pangburn, and they graduated together.
In Howard's leisure time, he enjoyed golf, boating, camping, walking, hiking, reading, and most importantly, his family. Growing up on the family farm in Hurley, N.Y., strengthened his pleasure in gardening throughout his life.
