Mary,
Please extend our condolences to all in Fred’s endearment, especially those in your immediate family whom he loved so much. Fred and you are inspirational in your love and devotion to each other. This morning at St. Madeline’s, the church was filled with that same love.
We consider it an honor and a privilege to have known Fred, and have had the opportunity for him to touch our lives. He will always be remembered as somebody extremely special. Take care in knowing that Fred will always be there with you.
God Bless.

Dear Mary and Family,
So sorry to hear of the passing of Fred - your wonderful husband and dad. My memories go far back to our childhood at Aunt Della's house mostly but sometimes ours or yours and always include Fred telling a joke(sometimes not for our little ears) and laughing, lots of laughing- always smiling and generous.
I remember on Christmas evenings at Aunt Della's how we would all sing carols - some of us good and some not so good - but together and happy. May your memories make you smile always.

Mary,
We are so sorry to learn of Fred's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Caroline remembers him from work at GE. They both knew Paul Lemmle, the designer, who passed away in 2008 at the age of 100.
I remember Fred from all the AMTNYS meetings he attended. I also remember him for his kindness and professionalism to my parents when their garage on Curry Road burned.
You will here from us again when we send a donation to the charity.

What will I remember about "Mr. G"...the first Christmas I lived in my apartment, alone, he and Kathy left a fully decorated tree on my doorstep. I still put it up every year. He loved strawberry-rhubarb pie. I would make them for him and when I dropped the pie off, I would always tell him he couldn't have a piece until it was completely cooled off. I would laugh to myself while driving home, picturing him eating the pie the minute my car left his driveway! My fondest memory will always be the day we sat in the Genier living room and I told him that I must be crazy because I was getting married, again. He leaned forward, and with that always so playful grin on his face and that ever-present twinkle in his eyes, he said to me...."He's crazy"...and then we laughed. These are a few of the things I will remember...and they will always make me smile.

Fred was one of the guiding adults in the lives of the teenagers in Rotterdam. I can remember him coaching us in the city basketball league, taking us to games, having fun with us while he was a great role model, and that helped shape our adult lives I am sure. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mary and family.
