LAWRENCE W. "LARRY" DANYLUK

1946 - 2016

BARRINGTON HILLS - Lawrence W. "Larry" Danyluk, age 69, passed away peacefully at Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin. Larry was born in Chicago on April 20, 1946 and was the son of the late Michael and Caroline Danyluk. Larry was a resident of Barrington Hills for over 25 years, a member of St. Catherine of Siena Church, West Dundee and a member of the Siena Council Knights of Columbus #8596. He was a Mechanical Engineer by Trade. Larry was a private pilot and loved to fly. He was very involved with "Angel Flights." Survivors include his beloved wife and best friend of 45 years: Mary C. whom he married on June 21, 1970. Their children: David Danyluk, Charles (Alison) Danyer, Ted Danyluk, Lauren (Douglas) Gumaelius and Jason (Lydia) Danyluk. His grandchildren; Cadence, Andy, and Ethan. Larry was also looking forward to the birth of Jason and Lydia's baby due any day. In addition to his in-laws and several nieces and nephews, Larry is survived by many friends. Family and friends will gather for a funeral mass on Friday, February 26, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Catherine of Siena Church, West Dundee. Burial will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Palatine. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-8 P.M. at Miller Funeral Home, 504 W. Main St., West Dundee and again on Friday morning at church from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the Mass.
