LEONA HARTH

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS - Leona Harth was born January 5, 1926 in Elk Grove Township to William and Lillie (nee Oldenburg) Kirchhoff. She died peacefully October 31, 2014 in Arlington Heights, surrounded by her family. Leona was a long time resident of Arlington Heights. An active member of St. Peters Lutheran Church. She was a gifted floral designer at Sylvia's Flowers for over 30 years. She was dearly loved by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her late dog Smokey. Leona is survived by her children Debra (Donald) Klipowicz of Lake Zurich, Nancy (Donald) Hull of Arlington Heights, Robert (Denise) Harth of Roswell Georgia and Douglas (Anne) Harth of Northbrook; her 8 grandchildren Christopher (Sandy), Colleen (Jamie), Scott (Cherise), Amy (Tony), Andy, Meg, Adam and Julie and by her 11 great grandchildren. Leona is preceded in death by her husband Robert W. Harth; her siblings Florence (late George) Schaefer, Herbert (Lill) Kirchhoff, Elmer (Ruth) Kirchhoff and Dorothy (Chuck) Ringstrand and by her parents. Visitation Wednesday, November 5, 2014 from 3:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights and Thursday November 6, 2014 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 111 W. Olive Street, Arlington Heights, from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Memory Garden Cemetery.
