Oscar Beck Obituary

Oscar Emrick Beck of Schaumburg Visitation for Oscar Emrick Beck, 84, formerly of Hoffman Estates, will be from 3 to 8 p.m., with funeral services at 6 p.m. today, at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 330 W. Golf Road, Schaumburg. Interment will be private. Oscar was a member of the Sheet Metal Union Local 73 and was a World War II Coast Guard veteran. He was the beloved husband of Clara J. (nee Zeutschel) for 60 years; loving father of Linda Beck and James (Lisa); proud grandpa of Alyssa and Jayme Beck; dear son of the late Jessie and Otis Beck; brother of the late Hazel Burger and Charles Beck; brother-in-law of Loretta Dahm and Lorraine Zeutschel; and uncle to several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials will be appreciated for the United Leukodystrophy Foundation. For information, 847-882-5580.

Aunt Clara,

I was so sorry to hear about Uncle Oscar's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family. He will be greatly missed. I am so glad that we were able to have the chance to visit with you all this past summer as those memories will be added to all the wonderful memories I hold of Uncle Oscar.

It has been such a long time since we have seen you, but you and Oscar were never out of our thoughts. Our Sympathies, to your family.
