This is weird....I grew up a few houses away from the McBrides on Prospect Manor. Someone had told me that Steve had passed a few years ago..and I felt sad because I knew the family well. When I was informed of his recent passing...I said...I had heard he had died a few years ago. I have now felt the pain twice. So sorry for your loss. Laurie Hein

I am so very sorry for your family's loss. Steve was the project manager on a couple of projects that Mid-American performed for Cook County. He was always knowledgeable, capable and professional.

Another one of my greatest memories Prospect High School. How fast time gets away. I knew Steve, then. What fun we all had. I am truly sorry for the families loss. I guess the suffering is now over. God Bless you all through this. Dawn Meyers class of 1975, PEACE

My prayers are with Steve and his family. I was a neighbor and friend to Steve in Naperville. He had such a kind heart. He was always so positive, optimistic and such a fighter. I will miss him greatly and so will my husband, Doug. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. May he be more than healed with love and joy in the Lords hands.
