THOMAS FROHNAPFEL Obituary

Thomas J. Frohnapfel Thomas J. Frohnapfel, 55, was born on July 19, 1957, and passed away on Oct. 27, 2012. Tom was the beloved son of James and Jean Frohnapfel; loving brother to Claire Carlson; and cherished uncle to Ryan, Erin and Kevin Carlson. Tom was a dear grandson, nephew, cousin and friend to many. He grew up in Prospect Heights and spent the last 20 years living at Winning Wheels in Prophets Town Illinois, a facility for handicapped and wheelchair bound adults. Tom loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, his Labrador Retrievers and most of all, Bluegrass Music. He was a talented, self-taught fiddle player and a collector of all things Bluegrass. "Tom will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts." Visitation will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday Nov. 2, at St. Alphonsus Liguori Church, 411 N. Wheeling Road, Prospect Heights, IL 60070. A funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 a.m. A private interment will be held at Ridgewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tom's name to St. Alphonsus Liguori Ministry of Care, Prospect Heights and Winning Wheels, 701 E. Third St., Prophetstown, IL 61277.

The Frohnapfel Family, my thoughts and prayers to you and your family. Tom has always been in my thoughts and prayers thru the years. He had an amazing family, and friends in his life. He will be sorely missed.
