Carol L. Weimer formerly of West Chicago for 56 years Visitation for Carol L. Weimer, 93, of Wheaton will be from 9 a.m. until the time of prayers at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, at Norris-Walen-Segert Funeral Home, 132 Fremont St. (one block north of Washington St. and Main), West Chicago, proceeding to St. Mary's Church, West Chicago, for Mass at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Glen Oak Cemetery. Born April 11, 1916, in Chicago, to Adolph and Carol Minster, she passed away Friday, Dec. 11, 2009. Carol worked for many years in the bookkeeping department at DuPage National Bank and volunteered at the DuPage Convalescent Center in Wheaton and the West Chicago Library. She enjoyed reading and painting. She is survived by her children, Michael (Carol) Weimer of St. Charles and Susan (Steve) Dickens of Austin, Texas; five grandchildren, Steve and Kate Weimer of St. Charles, Andrea (Stan) Vick of Austin, and Lindsay and Mark Dickens of Austin; two great-grandchildren, Logan and Avery Vick of Austin and two sisters-in-law, Beatrice Hunter of La Fox and Rosemary Welter of Glen Ellyn.
