I received the news today and still reeling from the shock - then grief of Laura"s passing. I knew Laura for 27 years and communicated with her often through the years. She was a counselor, consultant, confidant, but above all a good friend. One can go their whole life and count their good friends on one hand - and Laura was one of those to me.

Laura was a truly enlightened soul and a very special friend. Usually it is I who teach and mentor; but Laura taught and mentored me. She gave me insight(s) on overcoming my ego; my work now takes on a higher purpose and calling because of her counsel. She put issues and experiences into beautiful context. Her memory always amazed me. From one conversation to the next she would recall intimate, minute details that would surprise and delight me. Here was a person who listened so carefully she could recollect events, feelings and context and then use that energy to springboard into the next level of illumination. I had seven monthly meetings with her before her untimely passing. In fact I had emailed her about another get-together just a day before I heard the news. To say I will miss her is a vast understatement. I am so appreciative that I at least got the chance to benefit from her wise counsel for as long as I did. Her words and thoughts will help guide the rest of my life. Laura I love you and miss you!
