Lawrence F. "Larry" Wozny of Schaumburg since 1967 Family and friends of Lawrence F. "Larry" Wozny, 83, formerly of Chicago, will gather for lying-in-state visitation from 9 a.m. until the time of funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Monday, July 30, at St. Marcelline Catholic Church, 820 S. Springinsguth Road, Schaumburg. Inurnment will be held at a later date at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday, July 29, at Michaels Funeral Home, 800 S. Roselle Road, Schaumburg. Born Aug. 4, 1928, in Chicago, to the late Lawrence and the late Bernice (nee Lukaszewski), he passed away suddenly Thursday, July 26, 2012, in Hoffman Estates. He was proud to have been a World War II Navy veteran and was a member of IBEW Local 134 (Electrical Union) for 34 years. Larry was the adoring husband of 52 years to Geraldine "Gerry" (nee Palka); he was the loving father of Christopher (Julie), Joseph, and Mickey (John) Fitzgerald; fond grandfather of Lexi, Kyle, Ava and Blake; dear brother of James, and beloved uncle to many.
