JIM PULLMAN Obituary

MUNDELEIN - Jim Pullman, 66, passed away peacefully August 26, 2014. He is survived by his companion of 40 years, Pam Lundgren, his sisters Judi (Dick) Parks, Jan (Denny) Meyer, Joanne (Kieran) Heraty, and brother John (Karen) Pullman. Many nieces, nephews, and more friends than he could imagine also survive him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Dagney (nee Aadnesen) Pullman. He was born in Chicago on April 25, 1948, and raised in Palatine. After graduating from Palatine High School, he attended Bradley University earning a degree in industrial engineering. He was employed in that field for 3 years, but decided it just wasn't for him. He traveled the United States for a year finally settling back in the Palatine area. He became his own boss as a talented designer, artist and builder. He was an excellent plumber, electrician, painter and master craftsman. He never advertised, but was always in demand. Many customers waited over 6 months for him to work on their home. Join the family for A Celebration of his life to be held Thursday, October 9, 2014 from 7:00 -9:00 PM at the American Legion, 51 Lions Drive, Lake Zurich, IL 60047. For those wishing to send an expression of condolence, his family suggests memorials to Keeshond Rescue of the Central States. Being a foster parent to Keeshonds was one of his passionate pastimes.

My last memory of Jim was when he had lunch with us while doing some work at our house. He had just finished patting our dog and looked up at me and smiled..He looked so content---a nice memory of him.

Loved our Friday nights on the patio at Chili's
