Working with Jim at Thomas Middle School was an absolute joy. I'm so sad to hear about his passing and extend my deepest sympathy to Jane and family.

To all the Freyer family, my heartfelt sympathy. Jim was a great guy, and I was shocked to hear he had passed away. May God bring you comfort and peace in the days and weeks ahead. I now live in Omaha, Nebraska, and consequently will not be there for the funeral. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Jane and family members,
It was with great sadness that I read of your family's loss. Can remember when he began teaching at South Jr. High where I also was teaching. His youthful energy and excitement of teaching science was such a welcome to all, especially his student's. He and Don Fowell ( now of Naples, fl.) certainly gave us all some laugh's and great memories. Hard to believe that I have been in Naples for 30 years. Keep busy and volunteer at the Naples downtown hospital information desk. Three of my four children live in Naples, and the fourth daughter and family are in Tampa.
May you remember the happy days of your life with Jim. He was a gem among men.

Fondly,
Marge Bettman
