Violet A. Powers (nee Krzanik), 88, formerly of Roselle. Beloved wife of the late James; loving mother of William, Mary (Robert) LaPierre, Annette (Mark) LaPonte, Rita (David) Bloomquist, Marian (Michael) Kovach, Andrew and Jane (Tony Aloisio); cherished grandma of nine; dear daughter of the late Andrew and Josephine (nee Balakiewcz) and sister of Evelyn (late William) Koci, Stanley and the late Edward Kraznik; dear sister-in-law of Mona. Visitation 3:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. today, Friday, April 15, 2016 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 333 S Roselle Rd (¼ mile south of Irving Park Rd), Roselle. Funeral Saturday 9:30a.m. to St. Walter Church, Mass 10:00a.m. Private Interment Holy Sepulchre.
