TRISTEN SCHOLLY Obituary

ALGONQUIN - Tristen Scott Scholly, age 21, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Tristen was born in Hoffman Estates on May 25, 1995. He was a 2014 graduate of Barrington High school. After high school he moved forward to trade school in the plumbing apprenticeship program for local #130, while working for his family owned business Abitua Plumbing. Tristen was an elite lacrosse and football player. He was very athletic both on land and in the water. His life was cut far too short but his legacy will always be remembered not only by his athleticism but also by his kind heart. Tristen was an organ donor. As a result of his kind heart, he will live on through recipients from Gift of Hope. Survivors include his parents; Frank and Cindy Abitua, and his brothers; Steffan, Josh, Nicholas, and Preston and his sister; Laura, his stepsister; Taylor and stepbrother; Frank. Other survivors include his maternal grandparents; Connie (the late Alan) Grecco and William Scott Reid along with countless good and faithful friends. Family and friends will gather for a Funeral Mass on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Catherine of Siena Church 845 W. Main St. in West Dundee. Visitation will be held on Friday at church from 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. and again on Saturday morning at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of Mass. Please omit flowers, memorials are encouraged to Gift of Hope, 425 Spring Lake Drive, Itasca, IL 60143. Miller Funeral Home, West Dundee is assisting the family with all arrangements. My heart goes out to Nico and all family members and friends deeply affected by the separation of your loved one Tristen, I pray for comfort and healing for you all at this time, trust in God and your faith in him that you will receive comfort and understanding for the separation of Tristen in your life one day, never forgetting you will be reunited with him one day too when you close your eyes for for the last time on this earth.. and that Tristen will be the one waiting to receive you as all those who have crossed over before us.
