Opal Snider Obituary

Opal A. Snider, age 86, passed away Saturday, Oct. 1. She was born July 16, 1925 in St. Louis, Missouri. She retired from the Social Security Administration after a 25 year career. Mrs. Snider was a 30 year member of the Bemiston Baptist Church where she served in several church ministries. Her ministries included teaching Sunday school. She was preceded in death by her parents Esther and David Solomon Alsbrook; her brother, David Muriel; and her beloved husband of 60 years, Hubert Snider. She is survived by her three children, Catherine S. Roberts of Denver, Nancy S. Buzachero (Victor) of San Diego, David H. Snider (Jeanette) of Birmingham. And three grandchildren-- Christopher J. Buzachero (Annie) of Chicago, Jessica M. Buzachero of San Francisco, and Matthew C. Roberts of Los Angeles and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sat. Oct. 8 at 10:00 a.m. at Bemiston Baptist Church in Talladega. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. followed by graveside services at Pinehill Memorial Park in Talladega. My husband and I went to church with Ms.Opal and Mr. Hubert. They were really wonderful people. We will miss seeing Ms. Opal.
