Leonard Santangelo Obituary

Leonard John Santangelo of Malvern Leonard John Santangelo, 86, died peacefully at home in Malvern, on Feb. 19, 2013. Born on Feb. 27, 1926 in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Anthony and Vita (Montalbano) Santangelo. He was also preceded in death by his brothers Francis and Anthony Santangelo. Len is survived by his wife, Virginia (Johnson) Santangelo and his daughter, Jenna Ann Santangelo. Len was a graduate of Central High School in Philadelphia and attended LaSalle University. He was employed in the import-export business in Philadelphia and also worked in sales of steel strapping and auto parts. He had a deep love for the ocean, and enjoyed traveling and sports. Len had a positive outlook on life and enjoyed it to the fullest. A celebration of Len's life will be held at a later date. Memorials can be made in Len's name to the American Heart Association or the charity of your choice.
