Clarence ‘Bob’ Campbell of West Chester Clarence “Bob” Campbell, 95, passed peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on Sunday morning, August 30, 2015, in his home in Pocopson Township. Bob was born in Chester, on December 10, 1919 and was the beloved husband of the late Vera Rose Campbell. Bob was the beloved father of seven children: Robert Campbell of Roanoke, Va., Joseph Campbell of Quarryville, David Campbell of Rising Sun, Md., Thomas Campbell of Kennett Square, Constance Wolsko of Pittsburgh, Mary Campbell of Baltimore, Md., and Christina Campbell of West Chester. He was also the wonderful grandfather of eight grandsons, three granddaughters, and two adopted granddaughters as well as three great-grandsons and three great-granddaughters as well as seven adopted great-grandchildren. Bob was an Army Veteran and served in the Philippines in World War II. He worked in many industries throughout his life, but retired from the chemical industry, which he loved with a passion. Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation from 9 to 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3 at St. Agnes Church, 233 W. Gay St. West Chester, PA 19380; a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Entombment will be held with Military Honors at St. Agnes Cemetery in West Chester, where Bob will join his loving wife in Eternal Rest.
