Dianne & Gus Taylor

Gus and I knew Trudy for most of the 15 years we lived a few doors down from her. We both noticed the tall, slender woman who walked briskly up and down our neighborhood streets twice a day, rain or shine, hot or cold. Eventually, our walks crossed hers and we stopped to talk. That's all it took and we were friends from then on. She told us about her son and we eventually met him on a visit. Trudy was a Mom and she was always concerned about the health problems that Harold faced. But she was always optimistic. She worked hard at staying strong and healthy. She was a very determined person. She came to dinner with us one night and told us about her experiences as a young woman trying to survive in her native country, now the Czech Republic, after it was invaded by the Germans during World War II. I always admired her. Gus and I will miss seeing her and waving to her on the daily walks. We and Paula Abel send all our sympathies and condolences to Trudy's family. Please know she is missed.

Harold and Family,
I am sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. We were neighbors on Emmaus Road for years and yet our paths crossed very seldom. May God bless you all at this difficult time in your lives.

Trudy, was my neigbor for over 35 yrs. She was a nice person, I enjoyed the times we talked together, we would make an attemp to solve some of the worlds problems. Our reglious and political views were just about the same.We would always talk about her son Harold and how he, with Gods blessing managed his diabetes. Harold is a son that would make any parent proud. As I look across the street to the empty house I feel a void in my life, I'm thankful that our paths crossed.
May God bless Harold and his
family in a special way.
