I met Ned like a lot of people through the car business. As a young man starting out in a new career Ned took me under his wing and tried his best to make me a salesman. After 3 great years of working together I realized I wanted to pursue a new career. Ned was always encouraging and was glad to see me on my way to doing something he thought would be good for me. We would speak off and on to catch up and make plans that for whatever reason would fall through. I am forever grateful for knowing Ned. I will miss my friend though I know he is well where he is.

I was very shocked to hear about Ned's death. I loved kidding around with him at Grafton Dodge. One day he kidded me right in to buying a car from him. Ned seemed to take great pride in his work. I will miss him! My prayers are with the family! Mike, I am here for you if you need anything!

Ned always gave more than he recieved and i had the honor of working with him and became a longtime friend. His giving often went untold as he liked the warmth of giving and did'nt need the recognition or fanfare. He personally helped me and my family on many occassions and will be deeply missed by one and all. I know Ned his with our lord. Rest in peace my friend. And our deepest sympathy to the family. My favorite memories of cousin Ned was when Aunt Peachie and Uncle Tiny would have the oyster roast around Thanksgiving. I remember all the laughter and food. Ned who was one of the oldest cousins who would keep all of us younger kids behaving. Before Ned retired I bought a car from him and on the test drive we joked and talked about all the good times we have had in life. I will miss him very much and his hearty laugh.
